ADDITION TO RESIDENCE IN HISTORIC DISTRICT

After Floor Plan Showing Addition To Both Sides and Rear
The clients desired to add on a new two car garage, a new master suite, a new modern laundry and expand the existing kitchen. The additions were located to the left side and rear of the existing home to save a giant oak tree in the rear yard. The Secretary of Interior's Standards for additions in the historic areas limits change to appearance of the streetscape. Therefore, the additions maintained the low roof line of the existing historic home.
